Acorn Web Offset Ltd. is a medium sized printing company in Normanton, UK that is mainly producing magazines, brochures and catalogs and very much specialized in A4 and A5 printing. Acorn Web and manroland Goss web systems have been partners for over 20 years now. The new LITHOMAN is the third manroland Goss press and will replace one of two existing ROTOMAN 16-page commercial presses. Equipped with a high automation package, the new press offers great productivity and flexibility for commercial production at highest quality and with lowest waste rates.

The LITHOMAN with 4 printing units and an automatically adjustable folder will be equipped with the highest level of automation features from manroland Goss web systems containing all Inline Control Systems for cut-off, dynamic cut-off, color and ink density. This guarantees shortest make-ready and changeover times and, at the same time, lowest waste rates and highest quality for the start-up as well as for reel changes and blanket washing. The automation package is complemented with QuickStart- and QuickStopp features, what is particularly important for frequent job changes. Therewith, the press is perfectly equipped for future production demands regarding flexibility and productivity.
