Glue Pot Upgrade

Description

The Universalbinder (UB) Glue Pot Upgrade replaces the 1990 and 2000 model pots and provides the latest version of the glue pot for manroland Goss UB series binders. This new, more reliable design can run up to 20,000 bph without cavitation and will handle book widths up to 3.50” (88.9 mm) in a single pass.

This upgrade includes the HM3 glue pot, electrical controls, upgraded Bijur automatic lubrication pump, glue stand and drive conversion kit, drip tray and guards. Also included is the necessary engineering time to update the software and screens. The electrical control stand includes a temperature controller, power disconnect, transformer, and cable connection.

This upgrade is available with the optional Glue Pot Level Controller (F109) that maintains a constant level within the pot and calls for more glue to be supplied from the pre-melter.
